about

The second scorching album by THE PREHISTORICS, from Sydney, Australia.

Sydney, Australia 6 August 2012: It’s been nearly 3 years since THE PREHISTORICS released their much acclaimed debut album “PETRIFIED” in 2009, catapulting the band onto the Australian Rock ‘n Roll stage where they have built up a strong following, by virtue of their scintillating live performances. After a three-year toil in the studio, 2012 finally sees the release of SUBTERRANEAN NIGHTMARE - a complete record of 11 scorching original tracks, many of which have been tried, tested and approved by audiences along Australia’s east coast. With influences extending from garage rock ‘n roll to punk and 70’s rock, THE PREHISTORICS have managed to produce a very cohesive, spirited record that captivates the listener from the get-go!
